General Information

This musical roughly follows Grimm’s original plot. Rene Shwartzbuckle implores her husband, Walt, to filch a delectable vegetable called “rapunzel” from the neighbor’s garden. The garden, of course, belongs to Witch Izwitch, who, upon witnessing the theft, makes a devil’s deal with Walt — his firstborn child in exchange for exoneration. Rapunzel, her hero, the king, queen and their sons will be joined by “not-so-brave” knights and court jesters. The saga continues with some new twists and scenes of audience interaction.
