General Information

Children’s Theatre Association of San Francisco proudly presents Jack and the Beanstalk for the 2014-2015 season. Our venue will be the Cowell Theater in San Francisco’s Ft. Mason Center. Public performances will be January 17, 24, 31 and February 7. Show times are 10:30 am and 1:00 pm

This year’s production of Jack and the Beanstalk is based on the fairy tale from the collection of English Fairy Tales by Joseph Jacobs. All ends well in this sprightly comedy whose characters include the lovable but gullible young Jack, his Mother, the sympathetic Betsy (a cow), an evil baron, and The Giant (a misunderstood madcap inventor), along with his creations the Golden Harp and the Golden Goose. The performance is approximately 50 minutes.

This school program is free, but reservations are required. Weekday school group performances are available for grades K-3 only.

All groups should plan on arriving at 10 a.m. and plan for departure at approximately 11:45 a.m.

Performances are at the Cowell Theater at Ft. Mason Center in San Francisco.
